Leicester's promotion dream over?
After their defeat to Portsmouth, Leicesters promotion dreams are all but over. Leicester are now 11th and 5 points of the playoffs. Reading and Burnley who are in 7th and 8th both have a game in hand over Leicester and the rest of the teams near the playoffs. Also Leicester have the worst goal difference in the top half of the table, because of the bad start to the season they had. If Leicester want to have any hope of reaching the playoffs then they will have to win most of there upcoming games and hope that the other teams lose. Despite Leicester probably not getting promoted this season there is hope for next season, if you started the season from when Sven-Goran Erickson took over Leicester then Leicester would be in the playoffs now. Sven has said he hopes to keep all the players that he has got on loan and help strenthen the squad for next season.

Sven after big player
There are rumours in the transfer market that Leicester manager Sven-Goran Erickson is after a well known footballer on loan. Sven has already made some big signings for Leicester with Yakubu, and is now looking to build on the squad. Some rumors suggest that Sven could be after Chelsea striker Drogba, on first sight this seams unlikely but he has just been dropped from the starting 11 with the arrival of Fernando Torres. Another rummer is that the player Sven is after is Man City winger Sean Wright Phillips, this also seams unlikely but no one would of believed that Leicester would get Yakubu earlier ether.
